My parents are THE BEST!

This is Teacher Appreciation Week, and today is officially National Teacher Day. Every year, for the past I don't know how many years, my mom has sent me either a plant or flowers on this day to me. Aren't the ones I got today gorgeous? I wish the picture were better, but I took it with my camera phone. The pitcher has a rooster on it, which is PERFECT because my kitchen is decorated with roosters. The walls are yellow, too, so I know the pitcher will match perfectly! Mom, did you request this, or was it just pure luck?
Mom and Dad, thank you SO much for all that you have done for me throughout my life. I know that I would not be the woman that I am without your constant support and encouragement. You are the best parents a child could have ever hoped to have, and I am so fortunate that God gave you to me. I love you!!!

I am so glad you liked the pitcher. Actually, it was kind of a planned accident. When I called my usual Alex City florist (Unique) I told Michael what I wanted. I had really wanted daffodils, but they are out of season. So I asked about cut flowers with a special vase. He began to name off different crystal types and then mentioned he had some pitchers. I said that would be better and then he said something about one with a rooster on it. I told him to go no further - that was the one. He did not tell me the background was yellow, so I guess that pitcher was meant to be YOURS. Thank you for being a good teacher and an even better daughter. We love you.

Thanks for the comment you left on my blog. I appreciate your words more than you know. I feel in my heart that God has led me to this decision for a reason. I know he didn't just bless us with these miracle babies and not put the desire in my heart to stay home with them for at least their first year. I am going to miss my job so very much. I love working, but not near as much as I love those boys and I know in my soul being with them right now is the best choice for me. Thank you for your encouraging words. Love ya girl!

Haha, ok you can leave your key, not sure when I can make it though. LOL!
Girl, I was on such a roll Monday...worked so hard on my bedroom, got it looking great compared to how it did look, had such big plans for the rest of the week (as far as cleaning) and wouldn't you know, I haven't done a darn thing else! LOL!
Lucky for us we have missed the severe weather, most of it has gone through Northern Lamar Co., and we're in the Southern part of the county. Can for sure tell it's Spring time in Alabama, all these storms, ughhhh!
Have a great day!

I love my Crimson Tide!

I really, REALLY mean this...
