It is a GORGEOUS day!

After so many gray, yucky days, it is absolutely gorgeous here today! The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and the temp is perfect. These kinds of days make me happy!

We got the boat hooked up to the truck yesterday afternoon so we'd be able to leave as soon as John got in today. Before we put the cover on, John forgot to raise the motor, so he untied the sides enough to be able to get the key in and work the controls. He got the motor up, and decided he would make sure that it would go back down. Push the button...nothing. No click, no hum, no movement. Hmmmm. John looked around, but unfortunately he isn't a boat mechanic, so he had no idea what it could be. Fortunately, though, Rodney IS a boat mechanic. :) John called and left a message. When they got in, Rodney called him back. John told him what was going on (or rather what WASN'T going on), and he said he thinks he knows what the problem is. He's going to stop by on his way home this afternoon. Hopefully it won't be anything major. Rodney doesn't seem to think it is.

That's about it for me. I'm going to take the paper and sit outside in this beautiful sunshine. Have a GREAT day and a GREAT weekend!

Yep, of course it's going to be a beautiful weekend, my husband has to work. haha....
I promise, every weekend he has off is always ugly and rainy, when he's working it's beautiful.

Today is my kids last day of school, woohooo.........we're so excited about that. They had their last 3 exams today. I'm wishing them both lots of luck.
Y'all enjoy the weekend. I don't have plans, but I plan on enjoying that ....... it'll be nice not to have to do anything for a change.

Tracy :-)
