I am NOT a fan of extremely cold weather. When I left for work this morning, it was 21 degrees. When I finally headed home, it was 28 degrees. My toes have not been warm since I crawled out of bed.
John's uncle lives in Alaska. When we were at Billie's over Thanksgiving, JD called. He said they were having a heat wave...it was up to 0. Uh...no thanks. Twenty degree weather is bad enough. I don't know how people live in the northern states and deal with this ALL WINTER LONG. God made this gal to live in warm climates. I keep reminding myself that spring is just a few weeks away.
The meteorologists are predicting a "snow event" for Thursday and/or Friday. I'm hoping for a Friday snow day since we'll be LATE getting home from watching the game Thursday night. It might not be too bad to get "stuck" in Birmingham.
Have a GREAT Tuesday, and send warm weather if you have it. :)

This cold weather really stinks! I don't like it at all!
They are also calling for snow for us Thursday but we're in the 1 inch or less area ... I guess we'll see.
The kids don't go back to school until Wednesday so we have one more morning to sleep late (that is why I'm still up at nearly 11pm).
About my roses, Steve was on nights so he ran in Walmart on his way home and bought those roses, he put them in that ole antique vase thingy we have. I thought they were so pretty and I was surprised! I used to fuss about getting roses cause you know, you pay $$$$ for them, then they die and you have nothing, BUT every now and then it really is nice to get some.
About the big game Thursday night. Honestly I have been trying to keep my mind off of it. If I start thinking about it I won't be able to sleep at night. When the game was coming up against Florida I had a good feeling and I still have that good feeling. I just don't wanna be one of those Bama fans that other fans hate, I am gonna keep my mouth shut and not say much until it's over.
I wish SOOOOOOOO bad we were going. I have some cousins going, ohhhhh gosh it'd be so fun!
Well, need to get up from here and do a bit more cleaning while Molly is finishing up her breathing treatment.
Oh yeah, I love your profile picture on here, that's so cute!

Girl, I don't know how we do it up here in the North either. I"m in MA. The good thing is, all that snow that you are hearing that we are getting is nowhere near me. We've been skirting right past it. Getting 3 inches. Not complaining but it's freaing frigid. We have the same temperature here only we have snow on the ground which makes it even colder. I didn't mean to send the cold weather down to you. It's just making a pit stop on it's way to the West Coast to visit my mother LOL. Stay warm.
Well tonight is the big night so I just wanted to send you a big ole
ROLL TIDE ROLL !!!!!!!!!!!
Tracy :-)
